Highlands International School

LOCATION

Highlands International School (HIS) is located in the Urbanization Valle del Sol - Mallasilla in the South part of La Paz city. The school is outside of the Calacoto area. Living in Calacoto is safe; this area has many places to shop and to eat in a very peaceful and friendly environment.

THE COMMUNITY

HIS began in 2003 with a handful of families that desired a world-class, English-speaking, Christian education for their children. HIS seeks to give the parents of La Paz an excellent education and focuses on developing biblical values in each student.

THE SCHOOL

Every activity at HIS should exemplify excellence. Teaching at HIS requires teachers to connect to the HIS community. Students are admitted from every background and are all treated equally as creations of the true and loving God.

ACCREDITATION

HIS is dually accredited by the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
