Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Academic Guidance Counselor to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for student success and a proven track record of guiding students through their academic journeys. This role will involve providing comprehensive academic support to students in grades 6-12, including:
General Responsibilities:
Academic Advising:
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with students to discuss academic goals, progress, and challenges.
Provide guidance on course selection, workload management, and time management strategies.
Offer support and encouragement to help students develop effective study habits and learning techniques.
College Counseling:
Assist students in identifying their academic and career interests.
Guide students through the college application process, including essay writing, scholarship applications, and standardized test preparation.
Provide information and resources on various college options, both domestically and internationally.
Organize college fairs, workshops, and other events to facilitate student interaction with college representatives.
Teaching and Tutoring:
Conduct small group or individual tutoring sessions to address specific academic needs. Teach study skills workshops and seminars to enhance student learning strategies.
