Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with children of all ages, and will possess a strong understanding of art history, theory, and various artistic techniques. They will be able to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression, all within a Christian worldview
General Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and age-appropriate art lessons for all grade levels (K-12).
- Develop a comprehensive art curriculum that encompasses a variety of media, techniques, and art historical periods.
- Integrate Christian values and perspectives into art lessons where appropriate.
- Plan and execute art exhibitions and student showcases.
- Maintain and organize art supplies and equipment.
- Order supplies as needed within budget.
Qualifications:
Current state or provincial issued teacher certification
Minimum of an undergraduate degree
Bachelor's degree in art education or related field
Valid teaching certification
Experience teaching art to K-12 students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
