Job Summary:
The Athletics and Activities Coordinator strategically plans, supports, and implements the schoolwide ICS athletics program, ECA program, and after-school activities in order to offer a wide range of opportunities for ICS students, and actively support and promote the mission and vision of the school. All ICS faculty are faithful followers of Jesus who lovingly models Christian values and has a heart for sharing Christ with students.
General Responsibilities:
-Communications Liaise and communicate effectively with all ICS Team Members.
-Bi-weekly meeting with Division Principals, Facilities Manager, and Community Engagement Officer for the purpose of forward planning.
-Communicate school-wide expectations to the ICS Team Members for facilities usage, scheduling, and events.
-Timely update on sports events and schedule to ICS Team Members and stakeholders (students, parents, etc.).
-Update sports results to the community weekly via principal emails, weekly announcements, and annually in the annual report.
-Communicate sporting event schedules and ECA schedules on school calendars, and other school-wide communication methods.
-Communicate with parents about events and bus transportation information in a timely manner.
-Sports Review, update and articulate the ACSIS (Athletic Conference of Singapore International Schools) and ACSC (Asia Christian Schools Conference) programs with all stakeholders.
-Provide effective guidelines for those involved in each program.
-Liaise with parent organizations relative to all sports events at ICS.
-Coordinate coaching positions for all teams and events.
-Support all coaches, officials, volunteers, and personnel in effectively meeting the goals of the ICS sports programs.
-Provide input on the growth and evaluation of all coaching staff.
-Ensure that all sporting events are in line with the mission and learning goals of ICS.
-Coordinate all administrative duties related to all ICS sporting events and after-school or ECA sporting activities.
-Coordinate all interscholastic sports and activities for the entire school, and ensure that adequate support personnel is in place for each event.
-Oversee the placing of athletic events and ECA activities on the school planning calendar.
-Oversee the scheduling of all facilities for athletic activities.
-Oversee all aspects related to the safety of the sports programs.
-Extra Curricular Activities (ECAs) Serve as the ECA Coordinator.
-Work with the administration to ensure the ECA program is aligned to the school's mission and goals.
-Manage the registration for all ECAs. Coordinate teaching and coaching positions for all ECAs.
-Oversee the scheduling of all facilities involving ECA activities.
-Oversee all aspects related to the safety of the ECA programs, especially the sports offerings.
-Vet new ECA programs/vendors as needed and onboard all outside vendors and volunteers with training and paperwork.
-Resource Management / Finances Propose, develop and monitor operational budgets for all sporting events, travel, and ECAs.
-Maintain and manage all equipment and supplies for athletics and ECA activities.
-Manage stipend payments and other operational expense payments to vendors etc.
-Organize and manage bus schedules and payments.
-Personal Conduct Exemplify strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications:
Minimum of an undergraduate degree, Experience Teaching in an international or cross-cultural environment, Minimum of 5 years teaching/admin/business experience

Strong organisational, communication, and problem solving skills. High levels of empathy and
willingness to serve.
