Job Summary:
A Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.
Experience in School Administration and Supervision preferred.
Meet the certification standards set by MSA and ACSI Accreditation agencies.
Preferred minimum 2 years experience teaching and 2 years in administration.
Ability to clearly communicate and represent HIS well to the community
Ability to manage a diverse staff.
Able to demonstrate a reasonable level of computer literacy
A Christian with a consistent testimony among his/her family and peers.

General Responsibilites:
Is responsible for managing the school. Participates and provides input into the hiring of teachers staff. Helps and performs appraisals of all instructional staff under a supervisory role. Attends Leadership Team meetings to discuss, plan and implement overall school-wide programs and activities. As a member of the Leadership Team assists with school/parent communication (i.e. web site, parent meetings, school calendar etc.). Attends meetings to discuss, plan and implement school- wide academic programs. Assesses current practice, recommending and facilitating change and planning for in-service in all aspects of the school program (staff orientation, school/parent communication, instructional services, student discipline, student assessment, professional development, etc.). Recommends policy changes in the Parent/Student Handbook and Staff Manual. Helps to plan agendas
and conduct school staff meetings when necessary. Oversees and provides direction for parent/teacher and student-led conferences. Assumes responsibility as assigned for specific committee work. Assists administrative team in planning for and leading in special events (Open House, Spiritual Emphasis Week, Graduation, Awards Programs, etc.). Assumes responsibility as assigned for special programs (Bolivia Day, Community Festival, Christmas Program, etc.). Promotes extra-curricular activities for students (clubs, field trips, special guests, etc.). Be accountable to the Director for operations of the school. Other duties as assigned by the Director.
